MDRC was founded in 1948 and has the club callsign of VK3APC. The clubrooms are located at Turner Road in Highett, Victoria. MDRC holds regular monthly meetings as well as weekly Coffee Group discussions. The Coffee Group meets every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00, and is known as the “Tuesday Morning Group”. Fortnightly meetings occasionally include presentations and are held on the second (2nd) Sunday of each month.
When the club rooms are open, so is the VK3APC shack! Members and visitors are welcome to come down to the club rooms and operate HF, VHF or UHF. Club repeaters operate under the callsigns, VK3RMC & VK3RKM, and can be accessed from the Club Rooms. You can also operate and make contacts on DMR and Yaesu Fusion.
