WELCOME TO THE MDRC
MDRC was founded in 1948 and has the club callsign of VK3APC. The clubrooms are located at Turner Road in Highett, Victoria. MDRC holds regular monthly meetings as well as weekly Coffee Group discussions. The Coffee Group meets every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00, and is known as the “Tuesday Morning Group”. Also Sunday afternoons from 2:00 every fortnight. See below for details.
When the clubrooms are open, so is the VK3APC shack. Members and visitors are welcome to come down to the clubrooms and operate HF, VHF or UHF. Digital modes are also available on HF,VHF and UHF. MDRC Repeaters under VK3RMC and VK3RKM can be accessed from the Club Rooms. VK3RMC is operational on D-Star and Analogue repeater systems across multiple bands with IRLP enabled on 70cm. VK3RKM is operational on 2M Analogue and C4FM.

Repeater Update
Please note that our D-Star Repeater Network has been restored and is active on 2 metres, 70cm and 23cm.
Our 2metre repeater VK3RMC 147.325 MHz is currently off the air and will be replaced.
